Someday I’ll Tell My Children

Being a mother is not an easy job, but for sure it is the most rewarding and the most frustrating experience. Kids challenge you, mold you, and in many ways, define you.

Motherhood is a unique time in your life, you are on the threshold between being a child and a mother. You experience not just the birth of the baby, but your own rebirth as well – of your identity as a woman, rather than a girl.

Having a baby makes you grow up quickly. You are no longer free to pursue whatever you want – even if all you want is to sleep through the night. (Liza Oz)

But the love that mother has for her children are true and unconditional love, as mother she would give up anything just for her children, this means anything – anything. She put down her self, set it aside and put the children at the first place of priority.

When I found the writings “Someday I’ll tell my children”, written by Erma Bombeck, it was touched me in so many ways, and her writings is so true, Love can come in strange disguise.

I believe that every mother who reads this writings will agree that love comes in so many ways. And I love my daughter enough to post this writings, so one day she could read my post and understand it.

in tears with love,
